Project description:
It’s a «Strelka» museum complex that consists of 3 buildings: a cable-braced bridge, Krasnoyarsk Regional Philharmonia and Krasnoyarsk Museum Center - «Mira Square». The system functions in 2 modes: Auto, Manual, Show: In the auto mode, scenes are controlled according to astronomic time. Scenes of the manual mode are unavailable. 5 scenes are available in the manual mode: «Weekday», «Day-off», «Holiday», «Waiting», «Turn off»; The “Show” mode includes 2 different preset shows that pass on to the auto mode when they are over. Display of the current mode. All logic of scenes and modes is set on local controllers. iRidium (Client + Server) solution switched modes/scenes from the center and keeps track of the status the system is on at the moment. The ready solution can stand temperature ranging from -40 °C to +40 °C .

Why did you decide to use iRidium?
It was necessary to realize automated multimedia system to control the artistic architectural lighting of “Strelka” museum complex in Krasnoyarsk.

Difficulties you faced while working on the project :
Impossibility to organize a cable connection between parts of the complex to synchronize their work. Necessity to connect to the complex via the Internet using a secure connection but without external IP-addresses, VPN-connections or DDNS. Providing acceptable work of the system in conditions of low-bandwidth connection channel an instable connection. Cross-platform solution: support of mobile OS - iOS and Android and desktop version of Windows 7, 10. .

Control panels:
Mobile devices on iOS and Android, a laptop, a PC – no more than 5.

Equipment:
The complex includes more than 15 000 controlled RGBW pixels, more than 2 000 linear RGBW lamps and 2 LED mediafronts. They formed a system of more than 200 DMX-universes with more than 100 000 DMX addresses. More than 100 switchboards control the complex. To unite everything into a single net 13 km of cables were used.
